After graduating from the University of Calgary in 1981 with a BFA in Drama, Bonni began her Stage Management career apprenticing at Manitoba Theatre Centre and Alberta Theatre Projects. In her many years at ATP, Bonni also ASM’d and was resident Stage Manager. She was fortunate enough to be a part of the first resident company with Alberta Theatre Projects as well as the first three seasons of playRites. She has also worked at Theatre Calgary, Lunchbox Theatre, Vertigo Theatre, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, spent 6 summers with The Banff Centre Opera as Theatre program, The National Arts Centre, Neptune Theatre, 3 seasons with The Charlottetown Festival (as PSM), Edmonton Opera, and for 4 years as ASM then 10 years as SM for Calgary Opera. Bonni also has worked as a Continuity Supervisor in film and TV. Since 2012, Bonni has been the Director of Production with Calgary Opera.
