Marisa has spent the past six years on tour with Cirque du Soleil and is currently touring North America with Cirque’s latest production: TORUK – The First Flight. Previous credits for Cirque du Soleil include: Dralion and Quidam. Although her touring career has taken her all over the world including: Dubai, South Africa, Siberia, South America, Europe, Alaska and the UK, Marisa is thrilled to now call Toronto home.
Prior to her Cirque career Marisa worked as a Stage Manager for Opera and Musical Theatre in Toronto and also spent two seasons at the Shaw Festival. Favorite Shaw credits include: A Little Night Music, Follies: In Concert, and Summer & Smoke. Select Toronto credits include: Assassins (TIFT/BirdLand Theatre), Waiting For The Parade (Soulpepper), The Coronation of Poppea (Opera Atelier).
Always one for an adventure, Marisa spent two summers ‘Off the Grid” working with Two Planks and a Passion Theatre in Nova Scotia on the Merrit Award Winning outdoor productions of The Crucible and Allen Cole’s Rockbound.
Marisa has also worked for Neptune Theatre, Halifax, The Globe Theatre, Regina, The Banff Centre and Tapestry New Opera.
