Originally from Nova Scotia, Sheldon has been based in Ontario since 1994. He has appeared on stage in Toronto in Godspell (Bathurst St. Theatre), Road (Equity Showcase Theatre), Urinetown and Little Shop of Horrors (Canadian Stage Company).
Elsewhere in Ontario, he has performed in Angel Street (Classic Theatre Festival); Lend Me A Tenor (Upper Canada Playhouse); Harvest and She Loves Me (Thousand Islands Playhouse); Weekend Comedy, The Last Resort, The Foursome, All Shook Up, Anything Goes, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoast, and Jack and the Beanstalk: the Panto (Drayton Entertainment); Queen For A Day (April 30th Entertainment); Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Man of La Mancha (Theatre By The Bay); Oil Rush and Leading Ladies (Victoria Playhouse Petrolia); The Producers (Stage West Calgary & Mississauga); A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, The Miser, A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline, Little Shop of Horrors, The 39 Steps and The Ballad of Stompin’ Tom (Sudbury Theatre Centre).
Sheldon has also worked at regional theatres across the country such as Theatre Calgary, The Globe Theatre, Theatre New Brunswick, Neptune Theatre, and the Charlottetown Festival.
