Susan has been stage managing for well over 30 years. During her career she has worked in the disciplines of Opera, Theatre, Dance, Musical Theatre, Corporate and Gala. She was the principal Stage Manager for Opera Hamilton for 16 years. Other projects include The Needfire, the North American tour of HMS Pinafore (Mirvish Productions), the Golden Jubilee Gala, at Roy Thomson Hall for Queen Elizabeth II as well as many other Gala and Corporate shows. She has worked for the Citadel Theatre, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Rainbow Stage, The Canadian Opera Company, Vancouver Opera, Opera Ora Now, Comus Music Theatre, Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards, Livewire, Showmakers, Zoom7, Canadian Stage Company, Tarragon Theatre, Necessary Angel, the Shaw Festival and the Stratford Festival. She currently spends her time stage managing Opera at the Faculty of Music, U of T as well as the National Arts Centre where she just completed working on Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards. Next, she is off to Europe with the NAC Orchestra for their 50th anniversary tour.
