Working with a Digital Prompt Script

Are you tired of erasing and rewriting? Why not give yourself some easy editing tools!

There is an increasing interest and curiosity about authoring a Digital Prompt Script, and more Stage Managers are adopting various forms of digital work. This course focuses on what to consider before taking the leap and strategies to get you from prep week to closing. The aim of this session is to explore several approaches to working digitally and foster a dialogue around how you can take your existing methods and apply them to a digital format. We’ll discuss the pros and cons of various digital methods, and offer an in-depth look into both word processing, and spreadsheet approaches.

This course primarily uses Pages and Numbers for Mac, but methods are transferrable to other programs, and examples in Word/Google docs, and Excel/Google Sheets will be provided. 

If you want to follow along as we go, please bring your laptop and have Pages and Numbers downloaded, or your word processing and spreadsheet program of choice. This is not mandatory, you are also welcome to just watch and chat, and you will have access to templates that can be explored after the course.
