Catherine was a Festival Director of the Toronto International Deaf Film & Arts Festival. She is an award-winning filmmaker & actor. Catherine was the recipient of the ACTRA Woman of the Year Award 2016. Catherine was a Deaf Community Consultant, for Deaf Artists and Theatres Toolkit, DATT, Cahoots Theatre.

She also served as an ASL coach & continuity for “Fargo” (Season one, 2014), an Emmy & Golden Globe winner for the “Best limited series, or motion picture made for television” and returned again as an ASL Coach for Season three (2017). Catherine was the only Canadian producer, “The Hammer” a feature film biopic of Matt Hamill. Catherine graduated with a BFA in Film Studies from Ryerson University.
Catherine worked as a Theatre consultant for Cahoots Theatre, Canadian Stage, Theatre Passe Murialle, McMaster University Theatre, Director’s Lab West, (Los Angeles) GBC Interpreting program, et al.
She also established a National Deaf Youths Film and Arts Workshops to inspiring young deaf and hard of hearing youths in the areas of filmmaking and in the arts capacity.
