Chris Buss

Chris is a 1999 S.M. Arts alum and sees the conference as a great experience that broadened his outlook on his career as a Stage Manager.

Chris started his career in theatre production over a decade ago with Stage and Tour Management, Sound Operation, Lighting Design and Technical Direction.  Throughout the years he applied his gained skills to Production Management. Touring his way across the country and around the world, Chris has had the opportunity to work on several Cruise Ships; he production managed the rollout of Liberty of the Seas inTurku, Finland.

Chris is currently the General Manager of Production Canada and is responsible for the management and operation of the event management and scenic construction company.  His role includes account management, budget creation and implementation, and supervising both event and construction projects.  He has been in the audiovisual industry for 15 years.
